Abstract
This research presents a computational framework for simulating porcelain tile firing processes in virtual reality (VR), with a focus on the porcelain craquelure effect. By combining real-time shader systems with an immersive VR environment, we enable artists and researchers to visualize and interact with the typically hidden firing processes. This research contributes to digital art preservation and ceramic education by bridging traditional craftsmanship with contemporary visualization technologies.
