Abstract

Vision alignment is of paramount importance to establish an effective mentor-mentee relationship. In a time of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA), it is critical to reflect on our mentor-mentee journey and identify factors that drive success. Serving with heart sincere and establishing consistent and effective communication are essential factors from mentor's perspectives. Mentee's narrative highlights on fortitude for the future, harnessing resilience with an outward mindset. Both mentor and mentee jointly co-created tips for acing an academic career together, thus cultivating a win-win approach.
