Abstract
The panorama of toys design and development in Hong Kong was discussed. The establishment of toys factories in China had significantly impacted on the role of Hong Kong, which was once a famous toys manufacturing centre in the world. To maintain competitiveness, many factories in Hong Kong have north-shifted their own manufacturing plant to Mainland China in order to save manufacturing cost and production overheads.
