Abstract
The integration of multi-modal sensor fusion with CRNNs in agile industrial drones addresses the need for improved object detection and SLAM capabilities. This technology enhances the drone's ability to navigate and map complex industrial environments with greater accuracy and reliability. It is crucial for tasks such as inspection, monitoring, and autonomous navigation in dynamic and challenging industrial settings. By integrating visual, LiDAR, and inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor information, the approach enhances situational awareness, facilitating safer navigation and intelligent interaction amidst challenging conditions. The integration of LiDAR, IMU, and optical sensors provides awareness of the environment, enabling the drone to adjust to changing circumstances instantly. The suggested method meets the needs of industrial applications, which demand dependable and durable solutions. It achieves this by offering improved precision, dependability, and flexibility that eventually expands the potential of industrial drones in a variety of operational contexts.
