Abstract
This study explored the knowledge structure and emerging themes in research on Olympic-related tourism, a field that has gained increasing academic attention. A bibliometric analysis was conducted, focusing on 296 documents indexed in the Web of Science database to examine publication trends, citation patterns, author collaborations, and thematic developments in the domain of interest. The analysis revealed steady growth in scholarly output, reflecting heightened interest in the relationship between tourism dynamics and mega events. By mapping core research areas and intellectual linkages, this study provided a comprehensive overview of the field’s current state and identified avenues for future exploration. It also expands discussions on sustainable event management and destination development, thereby encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge advancement in this evolving landscape of inquiry.
