Drawing on semistructured interviews with national digital identity system (NDID) users in Australia, we identify the human-centric cybersecurity challenges and provide actionable recommendations for improving the use of NDIDs. This article offers valuable insights and recommendations that will be of interest to practitioners and policymakers.
