Abstract

Technological advancements have catalysed the evolution of innovative pedagogical approaches, reshaping the landscape of education. This paper advocates for the adoption of Agile-Blended learning to meet the needs of metropolitan learners. It provides comprehensive guidelines for implementing this approach and illustrates its practical application through a translation activity adapted from an undergraduate translation technology course. The example presented in this paper demonstrates how Agile-Blended learning elements—flexibility, autonomy, collaboration, and technology use—can be seamlessly integrated into student learning using a Scrum-based online collaborative translation approach. This method not only enhances the learning experience by fostering greater student engagement and interaction but also equips learners with essential skills for the modern workforce. The paper also discusses the potential benefits and challenges of Agile-Blended learning, offering insights into its practical application and effectiveness in enhancing education.
