abstract = "Artificial Intelligence (AI) is widely embedded in Building Management System (BMS). Data collected from different sensors and records are fed into AI algorithms like linear regression and Support Vector Machines (SVM). These models help to optimize management of building facilities, thus optimizing energy consumption, enhancing security, and cutting management costs. Despite AI has been successfully adopted in government buildings, shopping malls, and housing neighborhoods, the technology adoption in campus is seldom studied. Building on the existing technological approaches, this paper extensively investigates the needs of campus management in the post-pandemic period. By reviewing current applications of different commercially available BMS with embed AI, further adoption of this technology in campus management is explored. The review showed that embedded AI applications of BMS can provide solutions fit for managing academic campuses in the post-pandemic era, which is worth further studying.",
