title = "How HK Construction Inspector would enhance the offsite Quality Inspection China Manufacturing Plant for MiC Projects?",
abstract = "As the increasing concern in Modular Integrated Construction worldwide, many governments are more willing to have building constructed in Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) method due to its characteristics of greater flexibility, less material waste, more friendly to air quality, shorter construction schedule, elimination of weather delays and safer construction. MiC is a new method in construction industry, however, quality inspection method and occupational safety in offsite manufacturing plant are seldom mentioned in practical MiC project and theoretical. This paper sought to discuss the potential offsite and onsite quality inspection problems from the whole product life cycle for MiC method. An overview of MiC applications in construction industry and quality inspection methods in manufacturing industry will be presented in this paper. Opportunities in improving quality inspection techniques will also be addressed.",
