Abstract

Blockchain is gaining prominence on the market, and virtually, every industry appears eager to utilize this technology for its benefits. It is essential to recognize that the initial stage of any opportunity is difficult. Small brands frequently encounter obstacles, and some of them have reportedly questioned the veracity of blockchain technology at one point. In addition, blockchain in the jewelry industry requires a substantial investment, the acquisition of a digital wallet, and the deciphering of a great deal of jargon in order to join a blockchain development company that can guarantee the creation of a separate blockchain for the brand. In addition, the constant technological evolution poses a recurring obstacle that must be addressed on a regular basis. While there are numerous tasks that must be completed, the ultimate objective of keeping pace with this adoption will benefit the industry in both the present and future. This article offers a review of the blockchain-based solutions currently available for the jewelry industry to improve traceability.
