Abstract
The integration of artificial intelligence and intelligent mechanical systems is revolutionising human-computer interaction (HCI). Emotion-responsive user interfaces aim to improve interaction by modifying interface appearance and behaviour in response to users' emotional states. This research explores how interfaces can dynamically respond to users' emotional states through multimodal sensing techniques, including facial expression analysis, physiological monitoring, and activity tracking. The efficacy of adaptive user interfaces has been demonstrated in sectors like education, healthcare, and industrial processes, where emotional support and cognitive burden management are crucial. This research has two goals: among other things, cognitive and affective states have a significant role in decision-making and efficiently engaging with intelligent systems. Real-time detection and adaptive reaction are predicted to enhance task performance and user well-being while lowering anxiety and frustration. A pilot exploratory design was used, with eight urban individuals between the ages of 18 and 45.
