Abstract

This paper presents the design and development of LISA, a spherical array antenna being developed at University College London. An overview of the system architecture is given, in the light of a brief theoretical background that contains the design formulas for spherical array antennas. The rest of this paper focuses on the choices that have been made in the design of the array front-end. In another submission to this conference, the measurements on LISA are discussed.
