Abstract

The authors regret that there are four errors which were inadvertently made during the manuscript drafting and language editing process. The authors regret these errors and would like to make the following amendments. The first error is the searching strategy of Cochrane Library listed in the appendix (page 296), which the last phrase “in Title, Abstract or Keywords in Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials” should be removed. The second error is in the introduction section, paragraph 2 (page 280), the first sentence “…is currently defined as the quantification of the impact of disease on daily life and well-being in a formal and standardized manner 6.” Since the HRQoL definition was directly quoted from Jones 1995 there should be a quotation mark for the following sentence [“quantification of the impact of disease on daily life and well-being in a formal and standardized manner.” 6, p.187S] The third error is the first sentence in the fourth paragraph of the Introduction Section (page 281). The sentence was directly quoted from Hill, et al., 2010, which was paraphrased from Bodenheimer, et al., 2002. Therefore, this sentense should have quotation marks and read [According to Bodenheimer, et al.9 and Hill, et al.15, disease-specific education is “an integral component of collaborative self-management, an approach recognized to improve health outcomes in people with chronic conditions.” 15, p.14]. The final one is in the third paragraph of “Implication for Future Research and Practice” (page 294), the first sentence was insufficiently paraphrased and it should be further paraphrased as [In addition, it is not surprising that patients usually tend to lose their motivation when receiving unsupervised home-based care.8] The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
