Abstract

This paper analyses the evaluation practices of agile learning and blended learning to inform the evaluation designs for the emerging Agile-Blended learning approach. A total of 16 articles on agile learning and 107 articles on blended learning, published between 2013 and 2023, were collected from Scopus for analysis. The findings reveal a diversity of evaluation practices across various dimensions, including geographical distribution, educational level, discipline, research method, data collection, and sample size. They highlight the need for future research to expand evaluations to different educational levels, incorporate feedback from a broad range of stakeholders, and adopt more qualitative methods and pretest-posttest designs. This study serves as a representative reference for designing evaluations for Agile-Blended learning, emphasising the importance of diverse methodologies and broader participant inclusion to enhance the robustness and applicability of future research.
