Abstract

This paper introduces Agile-Blended learning as a novel technology-mediated pedagogical approach to distance education. It integrates agile learning and blended learning with technology mediation to address challenges faced by distance learners, such as struggles with self-regulation and learning engagement. Agile-Blended learning encompasses core features including technology use, flexibility, learner autonomy, and collaboration. Implementing this approach in a technology-based environment can offer pedagogical benefits to distance learners, such as improving self-regulated and self-directed learning skills and enhancing collaboration and interaction with peers and teachers. This paper outlines how Agile-Blended learning can meet the needs of distance learners, along with its pedagogical implications, limitations, and future research directions.
