N2 - Nowadays, self-cleaning is a new technology which is applied on the glass to clean the dirt in the windshield of automobile. Many scientists are searching the materials of the coating and helping to develop and improve the self-cleaning glass all over the world. There are many self-cleaning glass products in the market. However, without standard testing standards, the performance of self-cleaning products is still an unknown. A review on the self-cleaning technology and the methods on the product testing are discussed in the paper.
