Abstract

Construction waste recycling (CWR) is a key focus within academia and industry, as it is directly related to the effectiveness of construction waste management (CWM), and to a great extent, affects the sustainable development of green buildings and the environment protection. To support practical and feasible waste recycling strategies for governments, questionnaire survey was conducted in Sichuan, China, and factor analysis technique was used to extract the critical factors for waste recycling activities. Results show that the factors can be condensed into four clusters, including policy cluster, economy cluster, technology cluster, and awareness cluster, according to which a new strategy framework for CWR is proposed for policy recommendation.
