Biography
Dr. Wong is a Registered Nurse (General) and an Advanced Practice Nurse in Oncology Nursing. Before joining HKMU, she worked as an oncology nurse, where she developed extensive experience in caring for people affected by cancer across the treatment trajectory. Her clinical work has informed her commitment to person-centred, evidence-based, and holistic nursing care, particularly in cancer symptom management, survivorship, supportive care, and advance care planning.
Her research focuses on improving the symptom experience and quality of life of people living with and beyond cancer. Her research interests also extend to evidence-based nursing, nursing education, simulation-based learning, immersive virtual reality, artificial intelligence in healthcare education, empathy development, and positive psychology.
