Biography

Keith Lap-Kei Lee obtained his B.Eng. (with First Class Honours) in Computer Engineering and Ph.D. (Computer Science) from the University of Hong Kong. Before joining HKMU, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics (MPI) in Germany, the Center for Massive Data Algorithmics (MADALGO) in Denmark, and the HKU-BGI Bioinformatics Algorithms and Core Technology Research Laboratory (BAL) at Hong Kong, respectively. His research interests include the design and analysis of algorithms (especially in online job scheduling and data streaming), natural language processing, algorithm engineering, and educational technology.
