Biography

Gonzalo was born in Vigo (Galicia) in 1991. He studied Political Science and Administration at the University of Santiago de Compostela. He later specialized in economic development with a master's degree in development and economic integration and a doctorate in the same subject, for which he was awarded Cum Laude in the year 2021.

Appointments

Gonzalo has been working for the GESPIC research group since 2014, dedicated to the analysis and study of the fishing and industrial dynamics in Europe, while he was collaborating with the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). In 2019, he started working in Mainland China. In 2022, he moved to Hong Kong to work as a senior lecturer and researcher at the Hong Kong Metropolitan University.
