Biography

LEE Chun-hung holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Applied Science (Biology and Chemistry) and an M.Phil. from the Hong Kong Metropolitan University. He has served as a Laboratory Officer for seven years and is currently an Assistant Lecturer at the Hong Kong Metropolitan University. His research interests include algae-bacteria interaction, algal physiology and toxin biosynthesis, axenic algae purification and maintenance, and omics technologies on algae. With a decade of experience in harmful algal bloom (HAB) research, Mr. Lee has published approximately 10 papers in this field, specializing in algal toxin detection, proteomics, and algicidal bacteria.
