Biography

Dr. William Lai, Chi-Fu is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Creative Arts under the School of Arts and Social Science in the Hong Kong Metropolitian University (HKMU). Before joining the HKMU, he was a Chief Scientist in the industry leading research projects on Computer Graphics and Vision applications on Geographic Information System and Building Information Modeling. He was a visiting scientist at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. He received his B.Eng. in Computer Science (Minor in Mathematics) from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. from the School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
