Biography
Victor obtained his Master of Laws from the University of Hong Kong, Bachelor of Laws from the University of London and Bachelor of Laws (Chinese Law) from the Shandong University. He is also a Certified Practising Accountant in Australia and Certified Public Accountant in the United States.
In addition to his mastery of law and accounting, he has also expanded his expertise in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). He is an Associate of the Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute, a Certified Lead Auditor of Social Responsibility (ISO 26000), a holder of ACCA Certificate in Sustainability for Finance and HKCGI's ESG Reporting Certification.
Prior to joining HKMU, he led and oversaw various global financial institutions' legal, compliance and risk management functions. Besides, he had been a part-time lecturer of law for 9 years before going into academia.
