Role: Organising ChairSmart city development is critical for a sustainable future, promising healthier, more efficient, and greener environments. These technologies address pressing global challenges, including aging populations and labor shortages, by enhancing sectors like healthcare, finance, and transportation. Successful smart cities require integrated solutions, particularly artificial intelligence internet-of-things (AIoT) for seamless automation and robust cybersecurity to ensure safety and privacy. To accelerate innovation in this vital area, the International Conference on Connected Intelligence (ICCI-2026) will convene undergraduate students, postgraduate students, leading scholars and industry experts from Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, and overseas. ICCI-2026 will foster interdisciplinary collaboration, facilitate the exchange of cutting-edge knowledge, and drive the development of secure and sustainable smart city solutions powered by AIoT.
